Chili-Mac Skillet

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef
3/4 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup elbow macaroni
7 1/2 oz canned diced tomato
8 oz canned tomato sauce
2 to 3 tsp chili powder
4 oz chopped green chili
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack or cheddar cheese (2 ounces)
1 16 oz can red kidney bean, drained

Preparation

In a large skillet cook meat and onion till meat is brown. Drain fat.

Stir in beans, tomato sauce, undrained tomatoes, uncooked pasta, green chilies, chili powder, garlic salt, and 1/4 cup water.

Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Cover; simmer 20 minutes, stirring often. Top with cheese. Cover; heat 2 minutes or till cheese melts.
